Reviews
Continuing the mystery of the Delphic Expanse, the ship starts experiencing the weirdest things that have ever been recorded in Star Trek history. And that's saying a lot. Objects fall to the ceiling, bumps roll through the decks like waves through a sea and Archer's cup of coffee starts to spill, but stops in mid air. The anomalies disrupt the warp field and force Trip to shut down the warp reactor. In the same moment, all the power goes out. And all the viewers start to wonder what the heck just happened.

Reed turns on auxiliary power and Mayweather detects an unknown ship somewhere... out there... The warp reactor being down, they use impulse engines to approach it. They find there are no signs of life and no gravity. When they get on board, they find a crew full of dead, reptilian Xindi.
More like XinDEAD! (Forget I said that)
So the only Xindi they have found so far have either been the wrong species or dead. At least these ones are the right species, so they rummage through their computers to take all the information they can... but the Xindi database is gone. They leave, close up shop and get on their way. And that's when the pirates attack.

The pirates do what pirates do best. They pilfer everything that's not nailed down, but especially the most valuable stuff like antimatter injectors. The crew is successful in capturing one of the pirates, but Trip tells Archer that without the antimatter injectors they stole, they'll "run out of gas" in about a week. The pirates were also responsible for attacking the Xindi ship and for the death of Redshirt Fuller.

Archer interrogates the captured pirate and finds that he was from outside of the Delphic Expanse, came in to try and start a new merchant route, but were unable to get out of the thermoberic clouds that surround the Expanse. Cut off from home, they took to piracy in order to survive. The anomalies in the Expanse had scarred his face. And now people call him elephant man.

After taking a while to follow the pirates, they find them inside this giant... sphere... of death.
No, not that one!
Thaaaaaaaat's the one...
Turns out the pirates have been using this planetoid-sized sphere to store their treasure, but it's been there for at least a thousand years. It was shrouded in a sort of cloaking shield and has been giving off unusual gravimetric energy. It's possible that this sphere is the source of the unusual anomalies throughout the Delphic Expanse.

But that's not important right now - right now, the Enterprise needs her antimatter injectors back. They take a shuttle inside the sphere and find most of their loot and go on back. That's when Archer decides to become Angry Archer and use extreme methods to interrogate their pirate prisoner. After closing him in an airlock, he discovers that the pirates had downloaded the Xindi database while pillaging their ship earlier. Which means, when the pirates return to their hideout, that's what Archer is going for.

And return they did. They opened fire on Enterprise while Hoshi hacked into their system to download the Xindi database. Long story short, they got the database and finally sent the prisoner back. The episode ends with Archer staring intently at the Xindi database in the command center looking for answers.

Overall Thoughts
Awesome. I like how this Delphic Expanse story is progressing. It has all the mystery of Lost without all the lack of answers. Thumbs all the way up!
